Keto Chili Dog Casserole Recipe
The chili dog casserole is the classical comfort food and one of our favorite casseroles.
It is as convenient as it is tasty, you can prepare it in a few steps and it satisfies a lot.
This is the keto version of the chili dog – no beans in the chili, but there is such great flavor, you will never miss them!
Ingredients
Step 1.
Finely chop all vegetables: red bell pepper, onion and serrano peppers. Shred the garlic. In a hot cauldron add the onion and garlic and brown until the onion is transparent.
Add the serrano pepper and pepper. Add cumin, paprika and garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. Stir very well.
Step 2.
Finely chop the tomato and add it to the cauldron, cook until the tomato starts to get rid and add the ground beef. Let it cook covered for about ten minutes until the meat is fully cooked.
Step 3.
Preheat oven to 180 °C / 350 °F. While cooking the chili cut the sausages, first longitudinal (along) and then in three cross-sections, if you prefer, the you can cut on wheels.
Reserve a sausage for the decoration. Prepare a tray to bake, adding a little butter oil to the surface and dispense the sausages covering the entire bottom of the tray.
Step 4.
Pour all the meat chili over the sausages. Pass a kitchen spatula over the chili to flatten the surface and cover with abundant grated cheese.
Step 5.
Garnish with sausages to your liking, and bake for about fifteen minutes until all the cheese melts and is completely golden brown.

- 2 cups Cheddar cheese grated
- 0,8 lb Low-carb sausages (350g)
- 1,1 lb Ground beef (high-fat)
- 1 cup Red bell pepper
- 2 Chili peppers (optional)
- 1 Large onion
- 1 cup Tomato (chopped)
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 3 tsp Oil
Instructions
- Cut the vegetables and sauté them.
- Cook the meat chili: add the tomato and the meat. Cook for about 10 minutes.
- Cut the sausages and cover the bottom of the baking sheet.
- Cover the sausages with the meat and cheese chili.
- Garnish with sliced sausage and bake for about 15 minutes until the entire surface is golden brown.
