For much of his life, Alex was overweight and unable to consistently find a way to get healthy. After a tragedy in his family, his aunt and cousin were diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Soon after that, Alex was diagnosed with prediabetes. It was all or nothing situation. That was the reason why Alex started following the ketogenic diet and took full responsibility for his health. Alex has been following the ketogenic diet since 2016 and has won the battle against overweight.
Alex was frustrated by the lack of useful information and tools, so he decided to embark on a journey of self-experimentation and self-learning to improve his health—retaking charge of his life using the ketogenic lifestyle. His main goal is to share easy-to-understand, science-based knowledge about the keto diet.
With a passion for low-carb lifestyle and scientific approach to nutrition, he has inspired a global audience to shift their perspectives on food and lifestyle and uses his platform as an author and influencer to encourage a return to a healthier, carb-free everyday life.
Alex grew up in LA but is currently living the life of a digital nomad with his wife, Meghan. Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Public Administration.
